and sparkles
like gold on riverstone
when close
she fades
flakes and
falls
clear like the water
washing over all obstacles
passing through
pools of substance
as a fish
her scales bind her
to any hand that dips
she plays
with life’s currents
and leaves
nothing
looking elsewhere
