3. Does ethnicity influence academic achievement for English as Second Language (ESL)at the university level?
IVs = gender + age + ethnicity +university course +length of time in USA/Australia etc
DVs= GPA + perceptions of preparedness
4. Is narrative therapy an ideal way to engage with indigenous families about topics such as nutrition,
sexual health, cultural pride and family dynamics?
Survey of pre-post attitudes
Content analysis of narratives
IVs= demographics
DVs = pre and post survey scores + themes
5. In what ways do students interact with each other during class problem-solving tasks in statistics?
Field study, observational. Video-tape and take notes, content analysis to link themes to grounded social psychology and developmental etc theories and models.
