I started during the school year at Kids Adventure and then found they also had the True Colors School Age Program. This is an after school program and the kids come to read and write summaries of their activities. After a snack there is time for them to do their homework. After this there are outside activities.

At spring break or for a specific holiday both Programs are open for school-aged children. Sometimes they go on a field trip to one of the parks.

In the summer time kids from K-5 grades and middle school students are always welcomed as volunteers. On  Mondays & Wednesdays there is Art. Sometimes on Wednesdays they have Science with a teacher.

Tuesday and Thursdays are normally for Field trips, such as to the movies, or the park (Metro Zoo, Pinecrest Garden, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Jungle Island, Indian Hammocks & Tropical Park),  museums (Miami Science and Miami Children Museum) or other Entertainment – (Dandy Bear or Chucky Cheese).

Friday is usually a Cooking Activity with a movie afterward.

Every day we make time for the students to practice writing, reading, math, science and social study activities.
