Songs to Help Us Persevere: Part I

- Image by PrASanGaM via Flickr
I was inspired recently by a fellow blogger Dani who hosts Positively Present. Her articles, Words to Live By: …………. are exactly that, words from poems and songs that uplift and encourage us to keep on going.
So I thought this would be a great idea to apply here at PSI Tutor:Mentor, as the PSI Philosophy aims to support, enable and encourage students who can often feel overwhelmed by their academic, personal and work responsibilities.
Enjoy~
I see trees of green…….. red roses too
I see em bloom….. for me and for you
And I think to myself…. what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue….. clouds of white
Bright blessed days….dark sacred nights
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world.
The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do
Theyre really sayin……i love you.
I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more…..than Ill never know
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world

I see friends shaking hands…..sayin.. how do you do

A whole lot more than Ill never know)
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world

Hi, Char! We’ve just connected over at NaNoWriMo, and now on skimming through your blog, I see that you also hang out at Positively Present! I have a feeling we have quite a few connections that we didn’t know about.
And I love “Wonderful World” … what a marvelous song!
