ASEAN Education Ties and Student Network Opportunities

Student networks: Asia and the rest of the world

I read recently on the ABC Radio blog that up to half a million Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese & Indian students of all ages traveling to Australia for education/tourism.

There appears to be a lack of efficient language and cultural exchange~ providing potential student network opportunities.

Do you think that trade agreements will be enough for Australians to  step-up and channel the growing shift in economic power to the Australasian region?
