Metal Health and Academic Performance: About time more attention was paid to this peice of “bloody obvious”
Link found between student mental health and academic performance. Who would of thought it!
Inside Higher Ed presents and article by Scot Jaschik that reports one in four university/college students who seek counseling have also contemplated suicide. Self-harm (para suicide) was also not unusual amongst this population of students. The site makes reference to a national USA study on campus counseling centres.
